Los Angeles is preparing for another massive weekend of entertainment, fandom and pop culture as Los Angeles Comic Con continues to expand its celebrity lineup for 2026.
One of the biggest additions is Bob Odenkirk, the acclaimed actor known around the world for his performances in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Odenkirk is set to make his first ever Comic Con appearance when Los Angeles Comic Con returns to the Los Angeles Convention Center from October 30 through November 1, 2026.
For fans of the Breaking Bad universe, his appearance is only part of what could become one of the most memorable reunions of the convention.
Odenkirk will be joined by Giancarlo Esposito, Aaron Paul and Dean Norris, bringing four major stars connected to Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul together in Los Angeles.
The reunion gives Southern California fans a rare opportunity to see several of the actors who helped create one of the most celebrated television franchises of the modern era in one place.
Odenkirk became a television icon through his portrayal of attorney Saul Goodman, also known as Jimmy McGill. The character first appeared in Breaking Bad before becoming the center of Better Call Saul, a series that expanded the universe while earning widespread praise for its writing, performances and character development.
Esposito is equally recognizable to fans for his portrayal of Gustavo Fring, while Paul became one of the franchise’s defining stars as Jesse Pinkman and Norris played DEA agent Hank Schrader.
Their appearances are expected to make the Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul portion of this year’s convention one of its biggest attractions.
Chris DeMoulin, CEO and general manager of Los Angeles Comic Con parent company CEI, said organizers are especially excited to welcome Odenkirk for his convention debut alongside the other stars from the franchise.
According to DeMoulin, the continued popularity of Breaking Bad nearly two decades after the series first entered the pop culture conversation demonstrates the lasting influence of the show and its characters.
But the Breaking Bad reunion is only one part of a celebrity lineup covering film, television, animation, anime, gaming and some of the most recognizable entertainment franchises in the world.
Christopher Lloyd is also returning to Los Angeles Comic Con.
The legendary actor remains one of the most beloved figures in pop culture thanks to roles including Doc Brown in Back to the Future and Uncle Fester in The Addams Family.
Lloyd previously appeared at Los Angeles Comic Con in 2024, and organizers said his return comes following strong interest from fans.
For science fiction fans, Hayden Christensen is also scheduled to appear. Christensen is known globally for playing Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars and later returning to the character in projects including Ahsoka.
Rosario Dawson, Natasha Liu Bordizzo and Eman Esfandi are also among the Star Wars related guests announced for the convention, creating another major draw for fans of the franchise.
Nicolas Cage is also part of the 2026 lineup. The Academy Award winning actor has built one of the most distinctive careers in Hollywood, with credits ranging from National Treasure and Ghost Rider to his expanding work within comic book entertainment.
Fans of The Office will have their own reunion opportunities with Rainn Wilson and Angela Kinsey scheduled to appear.
Animation fans will also find an extensive group of familiar voices throughout the weekend.
John DiMaggio, Maurice LaMarche, Phil LaMarr and Billy West are among the Futurama related guests scheduled to participate.
The anime community will also be strongly represented.
Dragon Ball fans can look forward to appearances from voice actors including Justin Cook, Christopher Sabat and Sean Schemmel, while Pokémon fans will recognize Sarah Natochenny.
Johnny Yong Bosch, Dallas Reid, Jill Harris, Jordan Dash Cruz and Mallorie Rodak are among additional performers representing major anime titles.
Los Angeles Comic Con is also expanding its Outlander presence.
Duncan Lacroix has joined a lineup that already includes Sam Heughan, Graham McTavish, Grant O’Rourke and Stephen Walters.
Actors connected to KPop Demon Hunters are also part of this year’s convention, including Arden Cho, May Hong and Ji young Yoo.
The increasingly diverse lineup reflects what Los Angeles Comic Con has become for the city.
What was once primarily viewed as a gathering centered around traditional comic book culture has evolved into a massive celebration encompassing Hollywood, television, gaming, animation, cosplay, science fiction, fantasy, horror, anime and online entertainment.
That diversity has helped make the convention one of the biggest annual pop culture gatherings in Los Angeles.
Thousands of attendees are expected to fill the Los Angeles Convention Center throughout the Halloween weekend, many arriving in elaborate costumes inspired by superheroes, films, television series, games and anime characters.
Panels, celebrity appearances, creators, exhibitors and fan experiences are expected throughout the three day convention.
This year’s timing could also give the event a particularly festive atmosphere.
The convention begins Friday, October 30, continues through Halloween on Saturday, October 31, and concludes Sunday, November 1.
With Los Angeles already known for embracing Halloween celebrations, the combination of cosplay culture and one of the city’s largest fan conventions could make downtown Los Angeles one of the busiest entertainment destinations of the weekend.
Early bird ticket pricing for Los Angeles Comic Con 2026 is scheduled to end September 7, according to organizers.
Additional celebrity guests, programming details and convention activities may continue to be announced as the event approaches.
For Los Angeles entertainment fans, however, the current lineup already offers plenty to anticipate.
